1. Purpose
The PickYourPresident.org survey is an informal poll of presidential preference, set to run in key states between Wednesday, January 9, 2008 and Friday, January 18, 2008.
2. General Rules
Only one vote per person per poll will be counted: One vote in the Democratic poll and one vote in the Republican poll. Although the site does not physically prevent users from voting multiple times, all responses are sorted for duplicate identifying information, including email address, IP address, and a uniquely-generated database ID. Only the first response from a given unique identifier will be tabulated.
If circumstances require that a second round of voting be conducted (which would allow all participants in the poll to vote again), participants will be notified by email and the existence of a second round will be clearly posted on the site. Original results would be preserved on the “Results” page and separate results posted for any new round.
3. Results
Results will be updated on the “Results” page at PickYourPresident.org regularly during the survey period, as well as emailed to participants at key points during the survey.
